Copycat Chick-fil-a Market Salad with Air Fryer Salmon
One difficult thing about traveling is monitoring what you eat while on the road. This is extremely important if aside from weight loss, you have special dietary needs and sensitivity. Recently, I’ve been addicted to the Chick-fil-A market salad with crispy chicken. I literally had three last week while traveling. I knew when I returned home, I was going to keep wanting but of course had to think of a way to make it at home. I already planned on making salmon salads throughout the week, so I decided to mix the ideas! Even with salads, it is better to make them at home because you can monitor the ingredients and portions of those ingredients that go into it.
If you’re seeking a fresh, fulfilling and yummy new salad to mix things up, you should give this a try! Of course, I made this with salmon but you can make this with any protein of your choice and it would be good.
How to Cook Air Fryer Salmon
Two salmon fillets
Tablespoon of coconut oil
Sea salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees. As it is preheating, rub both sides of the salmon with the coconut oil and season with the sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in the air fryer and cook for 7 minutes. That’s it! Done and perfectly cooked! If you like yours a bit more crispy, cook for about 3 more minutes but be sure to not overcook.
Salad Ingredients
Baby mixed greens
Blue cheese crumbles
Sliced strawberries
Blueberries
Sliced mini cucumbers
Sliced almonds
Craisins
Strawberry poppyseed vinaigrette
This salad is so yummy and refreshing! I almost ate two! If you want some extra fiber, sprinkle in some hemp seed hearts and apples like the traditional market salad.
